Scoring and Strategy Once a player hits one of these numbers, he will receive a slash ( / ) next to that number indicating it has been hit once. If that number has been hit twice, it will be indicated on the screen with an ( X ). If a number has been hit three times and is "closed" it will have an ( X ) with a circle around it, next to the number. Players can also hit a "double" which will count as two hits towards a number. The doubles section is the outer ring surrounding the entire dartboard, along with the double bullseye. A player can also hit a "triple" which will count as three of that number, and can close out a number in one shot! This is the inner ring on the dartboard. |
