There are a few new members roaming the hallowed halls of the BAGS Century Club!
Over the past two months, four players have set themselves apart from the rest of the BAGS community by tossing a 100-plus game. Not only is this a testament to these player's individual excellence - but also to how difficult it is to gain membership to this exclusive club. Which is exactly why these players need to be honored!
First it was the man behind the top-notch tournaments in Prescott, WI - Brett Rossen. Playing at Cabana Jo's (where else?!), Rossen hit 100 right on the head to become the Club's fifth member.
Next it was the player who many say could challenge Timmy Mims for the title of World Champion. Kirk Stimpert, playing out of Bub's Irish Pub in Germantown, WI put up a 102 in mid-December. But more impressively, Stimpert tossed a 104 to win the BAGS Away tournament on January 12.
Terry Christopher, playing at Steve's Old Time Tap in Rock Island, IL became lucky number seven when he tossed an impressive 104.
And Michael Shelley became the latest member of the club when he scored a cool 100 at Rookies Sports Bar & Grill in Columbia, SC.
Plus, a pattern seems to be forming of where the BAGS hot beds reside. The states of Illinois, Wisconsin and South Carolina have each produced TWO Century Club members. And with rumors of more future members in every state, it looks like the debate for greatest BAGS state could be gaining momentum.
